COMPARISON OF STUDENTS' PERFORMANCE IN PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST CARRIED OUT FOR ADMISSION AND DURING THE TRAINING COURSE AT THE MILITARY POLICE OF GOIÁS
Abstract
This article aims to study the physical activity performed during the Training Course for Soldiers (CFP) from the perspective of the course participants, in comparison to the Physical Aptitude Test (TAF) conducted during the Public Examination phase for admission into the Goiás Military Police. A quantitative approach was employed through field research, using a questionnaire administered via Google Forms. Additionally, a bibliographic review was conducted. For data analysis and interpretation, Excel version 2023 was used. The sample included a total of 23 Soldier Students from the 2023 CFP cohort, who effectively responded to the questionnaire. The results showed that the students achieved an average performance improvement of 24.3% in the fixed bar/isometric exercise, 16.3% in the push-up exercise, 5.9% in the curl-up exercise, and 2.9% in the 12-minute run. Therefore, it is concluded that regular physical activity contributes to increased physical performance levels.
