ANÁLISE CRIMINAL COMO FATOR DE INTEGRAÇÃO DAS POLÍCIAS

Abstract

This article’s goal is to verify the possibility of joint action between different police institutions in the criminal analysis process. The definition of criminal analysis, its relationship with police intelligence activity, as well as the main indicators used in the process of processing and analyzing data and information were presented. The constitutional attributions of the police bodies and the incomplete cycle model of the police as a possible cause of the lack of interagency collaborative action were exposed. Finally, it dealt with criminal analysis as a factor of police integration. It is exploratory research, qualitative in nature and deductive method, using bibliographic and documentary research. It can be seen that, even if the integrated action is legally disciplined, it lacks the practical application of data and information sharing instruments, as well as an integrated criminal analysis process of the different bodies, which may be associated, among other things, to class interests of some members of police careers, who set aside the constitutional postulates aimed at preserving public order, to the detriment of personal interests.
