How Thematic Operations to Combat Crime are tools for the dissemination of knowledge in the final activity of the PRF.

Abstract

The present study aims to contribute to the knowledge of the topic of people management, highlighting the transversal approach of the field of knowledge management within the Federal Highway Police.

In addition to highlighting all the theoretical background that underlies the planning, development, control and improvement of the Thematic Operations to Combat Crime, a bibliographic review, documentary research and field research results were used as a strategy, aiming to demonstrate that the methodology used during the implementation of such operations in the Federal Highway Police organizational environment, as well as their effectiveness in disseminating updated knowledge on executable practices, make thematic operations to combat crime tools of knowledge management.

The survey results indicate a high degree of satisfaction among the participants, recognition as a practice of disseminating knowledge, the motivating characteristic and the interest of the employee in participating in more operations.
