As a comparison, 187 male military firefighters were also analyzed. There are no retired female firefighters It has been found that the military police, male and female, are satisfied in their profession. The highest satisfaction indexes refer to their personal relationships, such as the treatment of superiors, peers and subordinates, and the satisfaction of being a military police. There was less satisfaction in the salary and other pecuniary aspects. There is room for management of the administrators aiming at greater participation of the staff in the presentation of suggestions, in the improvement of the workplace conditions with regard to safety organization and cleaning, to foster greater professional development and greater recognition of superiors in relation to the work developed by their subordinates
