Abstract

The present study analyzed the viability of the demand for the collection of the state services tax provided for in State Law no. 18.282 / 2013, which established the Reform and Improvement Fund of the Military Police of the State of Goiás (FREAP) and know about the Events Battalion of PMGO. Legislation, jurisprudence, doctrines and journalistic matters that dealt with the subject were used. We sought to know the Military Police Battalion of Events and its model of policing. In addition, interviews were conducted with the first PM PM Battalion Commander and the Deputy Commander of the Logistics Support and Information Technology Command of PMGO, a member of the FREAP managing board. In the results, we saw the reality in other states of the Federation regarding the levying of similar rates and  an example of calculation that would be applied to a game of soccer has been brought. At the end of the work, it was concluded that it is feasible to collect this fee and that the clubs are obliged to comply with the safety regulations governing the organization of football events.
