The article sought to demonstrate the importance of military police in the development of children and adolescents, one that on its own initiative the military police has developed projects that add to the community The research aimed to expose the deficiency of public policies of prevention aimed at the minor as well as demonstrating how the military police have helped in this regard. For that, a field survey was carried out with questionnaires, as well as bibliographic queries. There is evidence that there is a lack of public policies that effectively work for young people in crime and drug prevention. In contrast, the role that the military police has been developing with young people, has assisted in the prevention of crimes, in addition to bringing a proximity of the military police to society.
